Ssr Type C Rs??????

i have seen the ssr type c rs rims in black anth. painted and i really like the and i know they sell them at tire rack but the ppl really arent helpin me too much. i called and asked if they sell for the evo cuz i only saw 18 inch and i want them in 17x8.5 or 17x8. they basically went to the serch thing on the website and said nope dont have them. i know ssr makes 17x8,8.5 with our lug pattern and diff offsets but i dont think they will do it. i know gruppe s sells them but i was wondering wat other place sells these rims and at a fair price. dont tell me ebay or joes we found these rims on someones car.com ne help would be great thx

I don't think these wheels actually exist.

Gruppe-S did a "gruppe buy" on them a while back, but no one seems to be able to produce any pictures of them. I was willing to buy a set if they could produce a couple of pictures of an actual Evo wheel, but no dice.

SSR lists a 17 and 18 inch fitting for the EVO in half sizes. But who knows when we will see production of them

You should talk to Neal at Tirerack. He has always been very helpful and can answer just about any question.

yeah, they are listed as a real item according to SSR and Gruppe-S, but TireRack isn't importing them in Evo fitments and no one can produce a picture of one on an Evo.

the SSR Type-C RS wheels do exist. They are available in Japan right now. And the reason why the price went up is because of exchange rates and it also has a lot to do w/ current economy in Japan.

Well the price would be ok if there was ANY SUPPORT AT ALL to give us confidence in the company (which has already gone bankrupt once).

Tire Rack is handling all US distribution of SSR wheels. Tanabe purchased the company, but Tire Rack is handling all distribution. It's best to talk to the Tire Rack rep
