The rear pads shift around in the caliper a bit - more audible on some than others.

My subaru 4 pots do the same - ah well...

Improper bedding/break in is likely the biggest cause of poor performance in brakes -

-remember who SUPPORTED THE PRODUCT next time you need brakes

(If the squealing returns I would try some CRC brake disc quiet (red can at NAPA)

Yeah I believe all four of my pads click now, not just the rears. It's as if the pads shift when you take off from a stop or go straight after going in reverse.

It's not as if - it's what is happening. Many fixed type calipers do this.

Typical floating calipers are inherently designed differently and don't do this as the pads ride inside a bit of stamped spring steel.

It's a bit of sloppy stamping by backing plate company who supplies most of the pad manufacturers. It is better than if the pads were tight in there as you'd have pad drag which is a big problem in a hurry.

Yea, I had that when I put my HPS rear on. Couple days later I switched to OEM ones for the rear and HPS in front. They were very loud over pot holes and uneven roads.

3 of my rotors are showing signs of odd wear patterns. Some are only showing wear marks coming from the outside edges of the pad and one is showing more wear coming from the inside of the pad. I was curious to know if the shifting around of the pads coudl be attirbuting to this.
