Unhappy Melted plasticky substance on my wheels. Help!

Hi! I'm a proud owner of a JDM Evo8. I've been driving the car for a year now and loving every moment of it.

anyway, i have a problem. Sometime, after doing some hard braking, i end up having some kind of black substance that looks and feels like hardened melted plastic on my wheels.its black and hard and im having the hardest time peeling it off from the wheels. It couldn't have come from the pad right, since pads arent made of plastics. my guess is, it must've melted off from it's source (which i don't know) due to the heat of hard braking, and eventully cooled off and becomes hardened on the wheels.

anyway, any of you here having the same problem? im totally lost.i've asked around and couldnt get anything. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

btw, im a newbie and i dont really know that much about cars, drivetrains and such, so i would really appreciate it if you helpful people dont use technical jargons. im learning though

p.s.i've searched the threads and i believe this hasn't been discussed. anyway if it has been discussed, thousand apologies to all the mods. thanks

Where on the wheels?

On the outer edges, inside edges, on the part that rides on the road?

Maybe you ran over something and it got stuck to the wheels?

How big of a strip are we talking about? In this instance, a picture will be worth a thousand words.
