What kind of mainteince is needed with vishnu/ohlins coilovers? Is the shelf-life determined by the user?

I would say two years minimum between rebuilds and for most users, a rebuild would just involve a change in fluid and a re-charge of the Nitrogen. I base that on my car which went two years with many many track days and re-valves (but no changes in the bushings/seals), I think of my car as being a worst case scenario and base the time on that. As they say in the car biz "your mileage may vary!"

And your car is street driven in addition to the track work right Chrono? Two years doesn't seem bad at all.

From what I understand Paul's "street" is way more abusive than any track. Mine have held up very well and I drive on a lot of broken concrete and asphalt.

Yes, I do an average of 20+k a year on the road and as Smoggy suggests my roads look a lot like the Nurburgring in places . It's also driven in the snow (to go skiing a few times a week all winter), it is a true daily driver.

Chronohunter,
Do you ride on 17 or 18 inch wheels. If 18's then is the ride still better than stock with 18's. also is tire wear affected?

I'm in the same boat as Luffy. VIII MR daily driver with some autocross (STU). No track. The Works Stage IV are double adjustable. Are the Vishnu or Mueller Ohlins DA?

How do the DA Ohlins compare to something like the Zzyzx w/DA Konis?
