Not exactly....when you add stiffer springs, you stiffen both the front and the rear of the car correct?

Here is one of the better threads on this subject.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=203509.

Probably the "lowering springs make handling worse" stuff you hear is due to one of two things:
1) Springs are just crappy, whether wrong rate, cut or whatever. There are several "good" spring options, some mentioned in this thread.
2) Changing your the height/travel of your suspension can make the factory bump steer calculations wrong, so you need to correct this or you can get some strange behavior.

As far a front bars go, the true evo suspension experts I talk to believe that the front bar is too stiff. There are benefits for front work - a whole discussion in and of itself - but again lots of variables such as wide track, bump steer again, precision kits, etc, etc, etc. But what you would spend on the front bar + labor (it is a PITA to change, of course discount this if you have your own lift and can do your own work) you can be well on your way to a decent set of coilovers where the benefits would be much higher.

I PMed you as well since i'm from Utah.

I am very happy with the Tein Flex coilover system...fully adjustable and I have no body roll what so ever. I don't even have a rear sway bar (or a front limited slip) however, throttle induced oversteer is made easy with this suspension. I just need some better tires (using all weather pilot sports...which totally suck imho).
