Many people run a +30 offset or +35 with 18x8.5 wheels with 255 tires and experience no rub.

It will work just make sure the rim will clear the caliper. The wheels have to have a pretty decent sized hat.

Stock fitment is: 17 x 8 +38mm, 5 x 114.3

As Mr Evolution said +38mm, I think you can run that but it depends on the offset of the wheel and the aspect ratio of the tire ...

Knowing the stock offset is not relevant to figuring out if a completely different size rim/tire combo will work with a different suspension setup than stock. You need to specify the exact rim size, tire size, and suspension changes for us to figure it out, but a 245 is pretty small, so you shouldn't have much problem.

I can say it does not make much sense to spend gobs of money on 18" rims that only use tires that are 10mm wider than stock. If you're just trying to go for looks with 18" bling rims and some lowering springs, then at least get something that will improve your handling and increase the contact patch significantly. JMO...
