just do what the door said. but if you are drag or road racing that is a whole different story.

My 06 MR didn't have any good info on tire pressure on the door but the user manual did. Check your manual and read up on it. I decided to run what it said would be the higher air pressure for faster driving. 38 cold psi in the front and 35 cold psi in the rear. I also decided to switch to that from the usual 33 front 30 rear or so because I noticed that my outside tire tread was wearing a little quicker than the middle tire tread.

the factor settings are 32 front 29 rear. In the manual it says for sustained driving of 106 or greater. Run at leats 38 front and 35 rear.

I run 40 all the way around and seem to have pretty even tire wear.

For street 35-38psi front and 32-36 rear is a good balance between handling and comfort. For aggressive driving 39-41psi front and rear is good, depending on alignment and the handling characteristics you want.

Whats max pressure on the tires you're running? At our shop we try to keep it 7pts. away from max. this way you can insure room for expansion and deflation. Having more air will help in handling, grip and will also give benifits to tread wear and rim protection.
