Noises with Tein Flexs

Just installed some used tein flexes and have some noises that I am not sure if their normal. First noise that worries me most is the sound of like air compressing when i hit a bump from the front suspension. Second noise is creaking. Are these normal? Possible bad parts since they are used (only 1800 miles) ? Any input is appreciated.

I understand that. I am assuming the creaking is normal from the stiffer suspension but the air compressing sound I have never heard from any of my buddies cars.

my buddy with a sentra se-r had flex suspension and his had both noises. Not as much as creaking but more of the air compression sound. Car ran and runs fine now, hes got a sr20ve built in the car and loves his suspension more then anything.

I am also wondering what the torque spec is on the top bolt on the coilover itself.

I've noticed that if the plasic under tray is missing any rivets and is hanging down or if you lowerd it too much and you roll over say a man hole cover, it makes a noise just like the air in the suspension.

I have tien flex's and mine make the same noise that you are describing. . . I have the edfc on my tiens. . .I am almost positive that the struts use air to adjust the dampining. If this is so then the noise would just be the air compressing in the system.

I havnt noticed anything adverse as of yet.
Let me know what you find out
