clunk sound when braking

Anyone experienced a clunk sound when braking?

Started a week ago, and I only really notice it when I drive really slow and slightly press the brake. It feels on a pedal almost like if a rock hit the bottom of the car or sometimes when taking off, slowly, it feels as if the brakes got unstuck.
I was checking it out today and can't really say where it's coming from... when I press the brake, I hear squeaking, on the passenger side where I had the accident, but it doesn't sound like a caliper. I'm like 99% sure it's not the caliper because both me and my friend were listening to it and we both thought it's somewhere else.

Do you have upgraded brake pads? I have Hawk's and I believe they are slightly smaller than the stcok ones so they tend to move back and forth a little bit. I have the noise to but I might be wrong as to the cause.

No, stockers.
I'm starting to think it might be the ball joint on on the control arm as suggested to me by someone else.

This happened to me under heavy braking and it was the joint on my control arm on my front passenger side.

Sorry, I don't. I got it fixed under warranty. They had to replace the whole control arm. I believe there was one for sale not too long ago on the private suspension and brake for sale forum. Check there, you might get lucky.

I get that a lot on my car I always thought it was the calipers. Can you get that fixed under warranty?
