they told me i had the remainder of the warranty, 3yrs 36,000 miles.
since i got the car ive had them redo my syncros change out all 4 calipers and put a new wing under warranty.... but they say that the springs void that part of the warranty and that it is the manual and that maybe if i came within the 30 days of purchasing the car they could have done something.

It’s 1' lower as you measure it? Sit in the car and have some one else measure. I'll bet it's more like an 1 1/2' lower. Teins are not known for there quality I would go back to stock unless you plan on doing track days or autocross. I have a set of stock spring with about 15K on them I can sell you cheap in the next couple of weeks.

Struts slow up and down motion they don't change ride height, unless they're brocken.

sounds to me like when he did took out the spring/strut assemblies and took off the upper plate, he didnt line up the flat spot on the top of a strut. that upper plate cannot just be put on any way when you compress the spring. Dude, pop your hood and take of the little rubber caps on the strut plates and see how much of the bolt you can see above the nut. i bet you can only see a few threads on one side

Bad shocks?

I had s techs on my civic si, and it did the same exact thing. The best thing to do is measure from the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel well right above the tire, which you did already. Next thing to do to be sure is to remove both rear strut or shock assemblys. Take the assemblys apart then inspect to see if any shock are leaking then measure each spring individually to make sure they are identical in height. Usually the springs is what affects ride height directly. The strut puts resistance on the spring, if the strut is totally blown, it will take its tension off the spring, allowing it to extract more and cause that side to sit higher. I remember when I had my si I noticed that the height was off, but the ride was so bad at that point, that I ordered a full adjustable coilover suspension setup, never put em on tho, cause I test drove an evo a week later.
