HELP!!! Car lower by an inch on one side!

ok..... bought an 04 evo 19xxxmiles from the dealer with tein lowering springs hks ehaust bov downpipe and intake, well after lookin at the car for a while, 2 months into owning the car i realised that the whole left side (front and back) sits a whole inch lower than the right side!!!.... now im taking back monday cuz they told i have warranty and all that good stuff....
my question is should let them return it to stock if they think its the springs cuz i bought it like that, or do u guys know of any other reason why this would happen.
thank you.

I would make sure it is actually off....grab a measuring tape and measure from the center of the hub to the top of the wheel arch......do the same to the other side and see if it is off.....check your air pressure too in all tires.....

Sounds like the guy put the both rear springs one the right side and the front on the left side of the car. I have not lowered an EVO ever, but this is what it sounds like to me.

Maybe the previous owner was a heavy set causing it to sag.

Put it back to stock or see if you can get a deal on Ralliart's.

It seems you should wait until the dealer has had a good look at the suspension before determining what to do. One way or the other though if you are off a full inch from one side to the other I would definitely have it taken care of, even if it has been driving ok on the street. Good luck bredrin'.

S-tech springs are not the greatest. They are far too aggressive in their stance - a full 2" drop in the front! Some people like the look though, so to each their own. How many miles do you have on your car? I'm wondering if the aggressive nature of the S-techs prematurely wore out the struts.

Instead of going back to stock, why don't you just get some new springs? You could probably find some stock springs on the boards here for free +shipping if you ask around. Or you could try the Works or Swift springs as well. If you want something a little less expensive, you could try Hotchkis. I found them to be pretty stiff, but a lot of people like them.

im willin to bet its the springs. they are too soft for my taste. might have blown the struts too but lets see what the dealer says. i dont want to assume things yet.

I have a similar issue with my car, the left side is lower. I read something called spring indexing which means the top of the spring needs to point in a specific direction in the strut mount or the car will lean. I had a discussion with my mechanic who was confident that he had put the springs on correctly so they have not been adjusted.
Can anyone confirm this situation or give some advice as I hate the idea of the car not being correct.

They told you you have warranty (which surprised me) and then they told you you don't have warranty? Same dealership?
