Clearance: Package 2
Package is 2 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
Fenders Package will stick out 8 mm (0.3'') farther.
Wheelwells Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 5 mm.
I looked around and seen 18x8.5 on the car..and i dont think thats wide enough for me..im thinking 18x.9.5 all the way around..what offset needed??????????

Also to add something, you want the total wheel and tire diameter to be the same on an AWD vehicle on all 4 corners or else you center diff might get damaged. Thus going with different size rims and tires in the front and back isn't such a good idea unless the diameters match ...

I'm a little bit confused about your post.
Are you planning on making your evo a show only car?
I got that impression by reading statement like "I don't care about understeer."
If you care about handling of the car at all, evo is awd vehicle with much of its weight on the front of the vehicle.
If you are running smaller wheels and tires on the front, your car would understeer greatly.
You might also check on the spoke design of the wheels.
Despite the fact that the wheel has proper bolt patterns, offsets, size, etc. doesn't mean it would necessarily clear the brakes.
And yes, you should put same size tires for all four wheels.

Well i understand all that, i do care about the performance and handling of the car, but not as much as far as track racing...I want the car to perform well on the streets and look good at the same time....
I guees i did not know this about awd cars...i will listen and put same wheels all the way around....if i decide to go with the 18x8.5 i will run 255/40 on all four corners...

Yes, or at least the actual diameter of the wheels and tires need to be almost identical ...
