Unhappy Adjustment knob on coilover gets stuck..im dissapointed.

On the drivers shock, the adjustment knob doesnt click while increasing the settings and sometimes gets stuck or evern very hard to turn comparer to my other 3 shocks. - sometimes it wont turn at all.

i called the reseller who spoke to the manufaturer (Buddy Club) who told them it is normal??!!!

all my other shocks click going up (higher rebound) and do get a little tighter but not where I hurt my fingers turning the knob...

any suggestions? - i had a similar issue with Megan racing when i had them on my Civic and Megan Racing gladly sent me a replacemt shock.

Is buddy club a bunch of jerks? these coil overs have been on the car for 2 weeks not even tracked or outcrossed on yet.

any words of wisdom would be apreciated.

Send them a link to this thread and ask them to help you out. otherwise is it a mechanical stuck, or just dry. try some Triflow and hose the things down around the adjustment knobs getting underneath. see it if losens it up.

hope you get it figured out. Buddy Club does make nice stuff its a shame they wont help you out.

I tried some wd40 tusday night, and it helped a little bit but not much...
if this triflon supposed to be better? I also have liquid wrench but have not tried that.

I keep calling the reselled everyday to see what they find out from buddy club, I will call them again tomorrow since I was supposed to get a e-mail from them as soon as they had talked to them. My reseller seems very willing to help in a way, it just seem Bclub is being pain.

Tri Flow is great, but if it a mechanical binding problem, its not going to help. is there any chance you bent the threaded end at all, or was is bent when you got it and didnt see it?

change of me bending it? no I dont think so... me not noticing yes. especialling since the fronts are inverted and once installed the adjustments are done from under the car.

I would check that out. it may be hard to see with the knob on, but if you want it off bad enough a set of channel locks will turn it off. you never know, the threaded nut could have got cross threaded too. I would inspect the knob very closely.

what are channel locks? - it sounds like i would have to force it off, and I dont want to do that i case It could damage it more you know?
