Springs: 8 vs 9

Im pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I guess it wont hurt to ask.

I have an EVO 9, and I ordered the GF210's for my car. The box just arrived and it says that it is for a 2003 EVO 8. I figure that the springs are the same for both the EVO 8 and EVO 9, unless anyone knows differently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As mentioned they are the same for both the VIII and IX. Just keep in mind that there is a variation for the MR models. Again the MR/Bilstein springs are the same from VIII to IX, but are not designed for RS/GSR models and vice-versa.

Strange you should mention that. The dealer's catalog here in the UAE states that the Bilsteins are optional on the RS and can be installed for extra. I got a set of IX Bilsteins with the Eibach shocks and have found them to be so much more tolerable than the stock ones, without losing anything in handling.
