Will 18x9 39 offset work?

I tried searching, no success. Will a 18x9 39 offset wheel work on an Evo? I was planning on running a 255 tire so I won't have to roll the fenders. Anyone with this setup? Pics?

It depends on the wheel.. I am running Privat Fahren wheels which are 18x9 with a 40mm offset, however they have plenty of room where the spokes clear the calipers..

The offset does bring the wheel/tire pretty close to the rear suspension/control arm, I'm running 245's but it doesn't look like it would clear larger than 265's.. 255's may be iffy..

I got my question answered. They will work and I was inquiring about Wedsport 18x9 TC-005, and as it turns out, they will fit.

Thanks. I pick them up this week, but I haven't seen many pics of these wheels on the Evo. Still debating on tire size though.

Make sure you get the proper spacers. My 18X9.5 +40mm use 25mm spacers up front to clear the calipers.
