coilover installation in NY/NJ/CT ????

My PSS9's should be arriving tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could recommend an installation shop in the tri-state area that may possibly do alignments as well.

Check out Bishop Motorsports in Avon, CT. They aligned my friend's STi, and they're very knowledgable about AWD alignments.

PM XK120 for more info.

I put my coilovers in myself (Cusco Zero 2Es). Saved $500 or more, then drove to a local alignment specialist. good luck

Installation is pretty easy. Find someone who's installed coilovers or springs and ask them for help.

buy some tools and do it yourself.
Save some money and learn would be a great idea.
It's just some bolts and screws.

its super easy... 3 bolts on top... 32 pounds 2 on the bottom 123 pounds for the front

2 on top for the back 32 pounds, 2 on the bottom 68 pounds.

all ya need is a torque wrench, 17mm & 19mm deep sockets, jack and a cressent wrench... it'll take you an hour i'd youve changed your own oil before lol

If I remember correctly the Bilsteins do not come with pillow ball mounts so it is a little more involved that what was outlined above. If you did not purchase pillow ball mounts or purchase separate stock mounts you'll also need a spring compressor to remove the ones off of the factory suspension. It's a little more involved, but still do able by you. Try calling Turbotrix or Adam @ Z1 and they should be able to help you out with the install part and possibly recommend a good alignment shop.

It's kinda far but like Bernardo said Bishop Motorsports in Avon does great stuff. Kyle, the owner, is a big time AutoXer and instructor and knows his stuff when it comes to alignments and suspension setups. PM me if you have any questions
