Negatives of Megan Coilover?

I been search a lot about these coilover and all I hear is the positives for lot of cars..im just wondering what are some negatives.. I heard on my friend's sti, something comes loose and he would have to tighten it every week so it doesn't make clunk sound..thanks ppl

So what is it about your friend's coilovers that comes loose? You need to specify to the letter. As far as I know it could be a faulty installation on your friends part.

I have Megan coilovers and I love them, they are very high quality product and I haven't heard a single issue yet.

hmm not exactly sure but i was just throwing it out there maybe some ppl have to tighten something as well, thanks for ur reply thou

that cause's a clunking sound... that would be the actual bolt that holds the spring on the strut....

has he tried using loc tite...

The only negative is listening to people who spent more on their CO's (yet only use them on the street) say "you get what you pay for".

I've had them for a year and change, so far no rust issues or any issues at all. Did I mention how well they perform compared to more expensive ones?

I've put about 35k on mine and the only bad thing about them is that people talk ****. Of course you are going to get a better coilover if it costs 3000. At least it better be. Search for user name Zeus, he has a bunch of links from people that have these coilovers. And after you read all the great reviews from the people that actually have them talk to Zeus and buy them from him. He is probably one of the best vendors on this site.
