I replaced the OEM brake pads with the HPS'. As the name indicates, they are just fine for street use. There's no need for an brake pad overkill, or you really shouldn't be driving on the streets.

I wouldn't use them for track though. Swap them out for Ferodo's at the track.

I have D.B.A. rotors and hawk ceramic pads and the y work better than stock and were cheaper

Ive now been told that Axxis and Hawk are the best brands to get by an Evo specialist.

You might want to be careful with that...each person/shop has a different taste in parts....Just read reviews on different brands..or figure how you want your car to preform...drag/autox/roadcourse/etc and try to talk to people in those events and see what the majority says.

I have the HPS and think work great. I have no break dust now and they stop fine. Mine did squel the first 500 miles or so when they got hot. Other than that I think they are fine.
