Evo to Lancer front Brakes.

Didn't find this when I looked but do the lancer brakes swap onto the Evo? To my knowledge they come stock with 16" rims and could probably fit smaller ones on there.

I'm looking for a smaller front brake without spending a g for front brakes so that I can fit a smaller rim on the car. Only three options I know of now are the machv 2g brakes (would imagine if the stockers fit any 2g brake companies should fit), and the willwoods AMS offers, and the UK version RS brakes.

Any information is much appreciated and hopefully not guesses.

Okay, my guess you want superlightweight 15" or 16" rims or something?

Please tell em this is for some extreme drag or course setup. At any rate most 2G Eclipse aftermarket setups are for 17" or 18" Rims. There are a few 1G setups for smaller wheels I think from Baer.

Putting Lancer ES brakes on an Evo would be a crime against humanity.

There is a thread in the Lancer section I think about putting DSM 2G brakes on - iirc it is a direct bolt on except for some brake line differences which are easily solved.

The DSM 2G brakes should fit inside 16's - maybe even some 15's.

They do, I had 2g brakes on my 1g DSM and they fit fine under the stock 16's. They might fit under some 15's depending on offset and spoke design.

Wow bro, to call someone stupid, and not know why they are this question is ignorant. If you know about drag evo's AMS, Buschur, and a few others run smaller brakes up front to fit smaller rims, so they can fit slicks. Also, I believe the turbo trix drag car runs 3rd gen eclipse front rotors and calliper, check their web site.

Turbotrix page is all whacked and gives no info.. Anyone prove that I can get a set of front 3g brakes and swap it on without an issue. Would like to go at least 16's... Course Pure Playaer might steer me to the correct way to drag and use 19x5.5's or some crap.

The TTrix car I'm almost certain had 2G brakes - but some 2G = 3G (at least the rotors - I know because I sold them to them)

All 3G brakes are not the same.

I'm not just trying to find 15" or 16" brakes, I need a brake that directly bolts onto the Evo such as the rumor that 2g brakes bolt on.

EvoBrakes, you sold TTrix the brakes they run there rims and slicks with?

Which brakes are they and pm me a price please.

Here is a link to a article written a while back. The info on their brakes is in the tenth paragraph. Hope this helps!
