Fender lip rolling tool...

I am looking to order a fender lip rolling tool tonite and I found the one on tireracks website for 299 and then I fought a similar one on ebay for 250 shipped, here are the two links, will they both get the same job done, i wouldn't mind saving 50 bucks but if the tirerack one is better i will get that or if there is another one out there let me know

The "Kinetik" one on ebay may be just fine and get the job done, but if it's for your shop and going to see some use, I'd stay with the more reputable ones. Especially when it comes to tools with threads and if the price difference is so small. We all can appreciate the difference between a ****ty and a good jack, just the same, you don't want a jankey rolling tool. Still probably better than a bat though. There are other good ones besides the TireRack one. Eastwood makes one, and there is another company but I can't rmemebe the name, all are good.

I believe they are both the same, rebranded, Eastwood Fender Roller tool. Can't find the original Eastwood one anymore, maybe they sold the rights to it. Don't know.

I would get the less expensive one.

since it's winter, it doesn't hurt to carefully heat the fender a bit while you roll/pull it. this will help soften the paint and metal, helping reduce or eliminate cracking of paint, and if you are pulling the fender a little, it makes it easier.
