Picture Request "Chromed stock wheels"

Im looking to do something different to my Apex Silver IX and decided that maybe getting my wheels dipped in some chrome would look cool on my car.. I searched and couldn't find much of anything. Someone has had to do it. If you know of a place that would actually exchange stock wheels from predipped ones to let me know.. thanks alot.

good find man, car looks kinda cool.. my car is silver, and im planning on lowering it i guess, bet the IX wheels would look cool.. something like the racing hart wheels AMS runs... only a little wider spoke, and not as aggressive. (are they Hyper black or high polish, or chrome?)

Not the stockers, but here is some pics of my car with the RPF1s in the SBC. I was also just trying to do something a little different:

Deff looks good man, infact im thinking about running the same suspension too. I wonder who can do that to wheels other than the factory companies that produce the wheels, like what is the process involved in doing it...

BTW car looks great too

Thanks man! As for other people doing it I wouldn't have a clue but I'd guess that any place that chromes things usually can do them in colors as well so they could do black chrome. I'm not real sure how it'd look but I'd think it'd look similar to the SBC that Enkei uses.

Agree that the "me too" look gets old fast, but most of the time everyone "converts" because it legitimately looks good. Kind of a catch-22.

Those SBC RPF-1's look decent I guess, but I have seen chromed stockers here in FL on a red car and it made me want to punch a baby in the face!

No idea, that is what im actually trying to find out. i would do them that SBC color if i could, just dont wanna spend like $200 per wheel.. My brother works for Westinghouse and they have a nice big machine to powder coat stuff, and the oven is big too. Its free for me to do this stuff, just dont know "where" to get that color in general. black and any other color is a 10 minute drive, dont even know where to begin to look for that stuff... any input please do.

If you are talking about losing the integrity of the wheels structure i know all about it. When you heat up a wheel it actually weakens it yah yah. im not positive what i wanna do yet, but im not going to try and make a statement. If i cannot, then i will settle for stock until i get wheels.

Guess what kind of coating is on the stock wheels? Powder coat. 375 degrees will not harm anything.
