OEM spring specs - 06MR vs others

Does anyone have a definite answer on the difference between the OEM springs on the various models and years? Specifically, I need to answer the question...

The difference between the OEM springs on an 06MR and the other models OEM is...

I've done the search thing, but the answers are not conclusive.

Any help is appreciated!

According to WORKS, who manufacture their own MR springs, I think the EVO MR has they same front but softer rear springs, compared to the regular EVO. You could just call WORKS.

Spring rates haven't changed between 05 and 06 ...
The spring rates for the 03 EVO, 04 EVO, 04 EVO RS, 05 EVO, 05 EVO RS, 06 EVO, 06 EVO RS, 06 EVO SE are the same and can be found in the spring rate chart sticky on this forum.

Stock(USDM):..........180lbs(3.2k)....225lbs(4.0k) ......STOCK

The 05 EVO MR and 06 EVO MR are also the same but different from the rest.

Actually i'd have to disagree, they changed the '06 rears to be lower to help with traction and with lower height im sure they must have increased the spring rate.

That was on the JDM EVOs. It was lowered by 5mm to help the S-AYC work better. Last time I checked the US EVOs only came with clutch type LSD in the rear diff. US EVOs didn't change.

ok, so we've established that the MR springs are different - possibly lower and maybe softer in the rear.

Does anyone know the rates and drop on the MR?

Why can't you just call WORKS? Then you can post back here and tell the rest of us ...
