I appreciate anyone trying to do things differently than others.
But why are you thinking of purchasing these particular wheels?
5Zigen FN01R-C comes with evo friendly sizes such as 17X9 w/35mm offsets and 18X8.5 w/30mm offsets.

Personally, it makes no sense to go down 1/2 inch on wheel width from stock wheels.
You want slightly wider wheels to provide more foot print/contact patch to the ground.
You want slightly taller wheels to accomodate larger brake system.
Narrower wheel won't make any sense whatsoever in terms of performance stand point unless you want a snow setup.

If you "don't have the money" for the right wheels for your car, don't waste the little you do have on some cheap wheels that make no sense to put onto your car. They are narrower than stock, too high offset, and will require you to run skinny 18" tires. I just don't see any benefit whatsoever for you with these wheels. you may even need to run spacers to run that high of an offset, which completely negates the whole price point of you buying them, doesn't it?
Are you just dying to "get some rims" or something? IMO you'd be better off using the money to save for some wheels that are right for your car or something. If you're willing to run stupid wheels just because they're cheap, I fear for what kind of 18" tires you would put on them. Stock wheels with good tires beat skinny crap 18's in every possible way.

It puzzles me greatly to see posts like this one.
Evo is probably the greatest rally car literally off the showroom floor.
With slight mods, you can make evo arguably the fastest car from point A to point B.
Modifying and personalizing a car to your liking are why we joined this forum in first place.
But why negate all the efforts Mitsubishi made to evo by putting on parts that do not help the car perform.
A little cosmetic improvement to make your car look nice is one thing.
But putting narrower wheels because you could save some money seem very illogical.
Save your money.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the stock enkeis.
I do understand that we all have different taste and likes but narrower wheels, 2" drop with springs, angel eyes headlights?
Imo, these type of mods make as much sense as people who chrome plate their entire sportbike and remove one of the front rotors because it looks good.
Sorry for ranting.

Here's an idea... spend ~$20 on spray paint and supplies and paint your stockers. That should hold you over until you save up enough to get aftermarkets wheels. Hell, might even change your mind (like it did to me). Example -

not gonna work. they will probably rub on your springs, and if they don't rub, they will sit so far inside the wheelwells your car will look like a Lancer OZ Rally edition ... only worse.

I'm pretty sure they would fit with a 15mm spacer, but it would still be stupid.

I'll save you the drama

they DON'T come close to fitting and you'll need MASSIVE spacers

it's not an Evo wheel in that size, period, end of story
