Question Enkei Hyperblack

I am thinking about getting the Enkei 17x7 Hyperblack wheels, but what bolt pattern and offset do i need? I am putting them on an 05 EVO VIII with Tein S-Tech lowering springs. Any help>?

WTF is with you guys wanting to run NARROWER than stock wheels? Do you want to run skinnier tires for the snow or something? Are you racing in a class that limits your wheel width to 7" or your tires size to 235 and you want more forgiving sidewalls? I sure hope so or you have another good reason I can't think of.

To answer your question, it would help if you knew what size tire you wanted to run. The stock wheels are +38 IIRC and 8" wide, the narrowest any non-rally or deep snow-specific setup Evo should be running IMO.

I have neve heard of an Enkei model called Hyperblack, but I know that many wheels come in a finish called hyper black.

From what I can tell, you need 17x8 +38 and 235/45/17 tires. Enkei has this one model that has a really nice clean 6-spoke design, looks great on the Evo and you can fit 255s on them without any rubbing! They can be found for under $500 a set too!

The best part? They're already on your car! If you absolutely must have some hyper black finish Enkei wheels, you can have your existing wheels or another set of stock Evo wheels powdercoated whatever color you want for less than $75 each.

17x7 won't fit

Enkei RPF1, NT03+M, RP03, RS+M all come in Evo friendly sizes

First you put S Techs on stock struts then want 17x7 "Hyperblack" wheels Sounds to me like you just wants looks and dont car about performance. Do some research before you want wheels, 17x7 most likely wont fit and will degrade your performance severely and limit you to small tires. If you want hyperblack look at 5zigen Fn01RC in a 17x9, you can fit most tires on there and run the popular 255 40 17.
