With a component so critical to both car safety and performance as a tire, I would stay away from off-brand tires like that until more real-world feedback on reliability and performance becomes available... For a few dollars more, I would go with a proven manufacturer of inexpensive tires like a Kumho, Falken, Toyo, etc.

Kumho Ecsta MX's work great for me and at $129 each from Tirerack they are a great deal.

Thanks for advice. Definately don't want a tire that won't allow me to drive the car as I like. I'll spend a few more dollars!

The guy at Big O tried to sell me on those too. He was like ya Ive been putting em on porsches and bentleys. I asked him what the treadwear was....

wait for it...

320. Dude, buy these and invest in light poles and street signs, because you're going to be taking a few out. I went with the Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R's for 200 a tire on Tirerack.com.

Which tires are you talking about? The Kumho's have a treadwear of 220 and the Falkens have a rating of 200.

Im talking about those Nexen 3000's they were trying to sell me on as well. Those are junk.

The Kumhos are ok, I know a guy in vegas running them here. I was going to go with the RT-615's as well, but saw the review on the RE01R's on Tirerack and found out they are comparable to Neova's. I went with those instead.

I've tried 615s and the MXs. Neither compare to the Advan. Unless you go to an R compound I don't think there is anything better than the Advan.
