18x9.5 Rota Torque...what does it take?

I am just curious to know what it would take to get this wheel in an 18x9.5 +28 to work. I know a 15mm spacer is needed and fender roll, but what else? How low could the car be dropped? Would the alignment needed to make them fit eat up my tires fast?

Thanks for all your help.

Didn't you just buy the 18X9.5 work emotions?

it depends on a lot of variables, ie which coilovers, or springs, which tire, which size, what camber, etc...

Sounds like they are a real pain to get on then?

I have Tein coilovers so enough clearance on the inside, was thinking of 265/35x18 tires (probably Falken or Toyo). Dont mind the arch rolling / 15mm spacer but if i had to run silly camber settings that eat tires then thats not for me unfortunately

18 X 9.5 +28 mm with coilovers would not need a 15mm spacer ( the higher the offset the closer to the hub,the lower the number the further the wheel goes out to the fender) at the most a 3 or 5mm to bring the fender to the wheel and should not need any rolling in the front. The rear no spacer, but rolling required in the rear if you want to use the 265/35 Toyo TIR. 255/35 might be okay in the rear without rolling.

Didn't really want to start a new thread either, seeing as I probably would have been pointed to the search button.

The Rota Torque in 18x9.5 is not an ideal model for the Evo 8/9 due to limited caliper clearance. Due to the amount of concave and caliper location on the Evo 8/9, the Rota Torque would need to be 18x9.5 +12 to just barely clear the front caliper. IMO this is too aggressive unless the car has a widebody and or fender flares.

There are plenty of other models like the Rota DPT (18x9.5 +35, direct bolt on fit no spacers, lighter at only 21 lbs!) that are better suited for the Evo 8/9 in terms of fitment
