I've been doing a little reading on which tires i needed to purchase, I really want tires that are great at griping ( close to the stock advans or prefer better) but I also want tires that will last me alittle longer atleast 20k, my goal for the car is to be an handling machine, so going to be doing some suspension work soon, but right now the car is stock other than ( boost gauge and boost controller) I'll pay alittle more for grip, but just hate the facts that my advans ran out at 7500 miles, and bought pre-owned ones with alittle tread life left and those ran out at 15000,looking for some guidence on which tires to get. If you could please let me know what kind and how much a tire.

I've heard that 255/40/17 are the best way to go for grip

The Advan Neova are great. Plenty of grips and ok treadwear.

 

Does wider tires make U turn wider? Anyone experience the same problem?
