how do you STORE tires?!!@!@!@!
o boy some of these responses are just silly
you never store tires on the side wall big no no! you stand them up as if they were on the veh. there are a few reasons for that but a big one is it will make the tech who mounts them life hell... it takes alota work sometimes to seat the bead!

What would be some of these reasons to not do it? With proper equipment seating the bead for anyone that knows how to change a tire shouldn't be much of a problem. We have over 50,000 tires in stock in our warehouse and the majority of them are stacked on top of each other on their sidewalls and some are laced. Like JohnBradley said, you guys don't know how these tires are shipped or stored.
Just find a spot where you have room and put them there, it's not going to make a difference..
I don't think you seem to know what you are talking about...

but my comment is purley off of fact and first hand experience. this my not apply to a low a/r tire but anything over 50 i have had problems with. especially when a client brings in there winter or snow tires that they have stacked like this all summer! its awsome that you store tires like this and have no problems its even nice to hear but im going off in the field actual experience.
p.s. i work for one of the most modern dealers in the north east and have tire machines that make techs druel, dont want a war just telling him my thoughts and tryin to save someone sweat
