MR Bilsteins
MR Bilsteins
I am trying to decide which to buy regular Evo or MR...
I know I will most likely get coilovers so I'm wondering if there is a market for regular evo owners that want the MR Bilsteins? If so how much would they go for? If it's not much wouldn't really be worth selling in case I ever wanted to return to stock...

Kind of confusing, I'm not sure if you want to an Evo or a supension upgrade.
The regular Bilstein on the MR are pretty expensive. I saw it on Gruppe-S for $1,500 - $1,600 and Z1Auto for about $2,000. That's for both front and rear of course. If there's a place out there that sells for cheaper then that, I would like to know as well.
If you're an Evo owner already and want the Bilstein ride. I suggest you get the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers. Z1Auto has it for about $1,700, it does not have the adjustable pillow mount but this suspension is more geared for street and spirited drivers then track purpose. However I heard that it does perform well on the track.
Do a search on the PSS9 if you're interested, there's a couple of review that are really good. It's from people who actually put on their Evo and tested it.

Don't you need to buy an EVO 1st? Nobody is going to buy the regular springs and shocks that come of the regular EVO (hard sell). As others have said, the MR Bilstein shocks usually go for $550-$700ish ...
Whether it's worth it to sell for that price is up to you ... a lot of EVO owner not serious about upgrading to coilovers also go with Swift springs and MR shocks, something to keep in mind.

I paid $800 shipped on Ebay, and had to haggle with the guy for a week for him to do that. They had 150 miles on them. My advice is if you drive your car everyday, leave them on there. They ride much better than others. That's the main reason I switched to them, the original KYB's are the worst...

I was just wondering if I bought an MR how much they would sell for as I would most likely get coilovers.
Wasn't interested in the reverse (regular Evo upgrading to the MR suspension)...
I'm not getting an evo now anyway. Found something else. Thanks to all for the good/useful info though.

I'm somewhat interested but with 30k miles the price would have to be pretty darn cheap. Most people dont realize you can buy the non-coilover HD Bilsteins as well brand new for around $560.00 minus springs. If you were going to add lowering springs anyway then Brand new might be the way to go.
