This is a pretty weak list, but of the 3, the Hankooks are the only tires I'd let touch my car. I can't imagine even CONSIDERING 280/300 treadwear tires for an Evo. That's awful. You only get tires like that for winter driving or severe weather. Even the Hankooks don't quite cut it.

The other thing is that if you don't think 255s fit the stock Evo 8" rim, then you haven't done one second of research on here, sorry to say...

255/40/17 works on the stock 8" rim. They aren't ideal, but they do work and I know several people run this setup.

As for the 3 you listed.... can't really say I like any of them for spirited driving personally.
