No mechanic is perfect, I've seen worst. Robi is doing the best he can to offer help, fix and compensation. If you dont like his work, fine....go else where.

Robi is a great & knowledgeable guy, soon he'll be setting up my Moton.

I know first hand (coming from a long career in suspension), that Mueller does meticulous work, and has a sort of "cult like" following. Having dealt many times with RRE, I can tell you that Mike Welch will not allow sub par craftmanship, NOR associate himself (in a personal, or business sense) with anyone who has "come backs". Hence forth, the clientel dedication for RRE/RRC. No offense to Robi...this is only my observation.
+ 1 on this comment.. Of course everyone on here is going to yell out Robi since he is always on evom showing his products/skills. I am VERY happy with my muellerized setup and would recommend him to anyone.

^true..

the biggest difference with most, is that Robi travels to people... how many top level suspension tuners go on looooong road trips just for their customers?

...not many.

Top that off with SCCA, USTCC, NASA TA, RL TA winning knowledge... and the regular guy 'somewhere in the middle of nowhere' can obtain a very fast & great handling track car for a reasonable amount of $$

funny how you wrote a good post for Robi and couple months later you start to complain.

Being in neither camp, I'd gladly let either set me up with a winning suspension combination. Luckily, I was able to get someone just as good near me instead, but I doubt I would have gone anywhere else if I was near to either Mueller or Robi. Of course, Robi travels, so "near" is relative to where he travels, which is a bonus, but he doesn't make it out to CO much, so Paul Gerrard is where I went.

I liken Mueller and Robi to BR and AMS, except there is much more hatred between camps. However, both are very good and have a lot of racing accolades proving it (customer and personal)...

The original poster asked for a references in regards to people who've dealt with either John Mueller or Robert Fuller. While I have never dealt with John , I have heard good things about him & RRE, from Robert Fuller, who spoke with respect regarding the above competitor. I have used the services of ROBISPEC (Robert Fuller) on two separate occasions and have found him to be extremely courteous and highly professional. I am extremely happy with how well he was able to transform my car into what it is today, a road ripping beast that can keep up with highly skilled sport bike riders on "The Dragon, 129 Deals Gap", and eat M3's, ZO6's, F-430's, Porches, etc on the road course. I have highly recommended Robert to several people and had no complaints, I have ridden in cars prepped by him and been very impressed, this is the 1st time I've ever heard anything negative about him. As a former weapons specialist & business owner,I am VERY picky about who works on my car, and only allow 2 people work on it, Billet Design and ROBISPEC. The key factor is twofold, they both are professionals and they both have integrity, without the later, their skill is meaningless.
Needless to say I HIGHLY recommend Robert Fuller and will continue to use his services!

i had a pretty bad robi experience, but i'm sure it was just a fluke. i'm even thinking about geting it redone next month when he comes for a visit.

i had a problem w/ really bad toe settings up front. i had to get another alignment by a great local, porsche guy.

i know that robi is very capable, but whatever mistake happened, really hurt my pocket.

still a robi fan though.

I, nor anyone is trying to make him out to be flawless, heck, he has bad breath & farts just like anyone else, but he's an all around great guy. I would like to presume that you made contact with him ASAP once you discovered an error and gave him the opportunity to correct same, am I correct? As a business owner myself, I would take issue with a customer who spoke negatively of me without giving me the benefit of correcting my mistake 1st. That's the honorable way in my opinion.
