One of the big things I find interesting is how he really doesn't like the Japanese-brand suspension.

Well....it makes sense when you think of how many race teams you don't see using JDM suspension. Outside of Japan that is.


A lot of people have felt the same way as Dennis for a loooong time. Many people have learned their lesson with regards to JDM suspension.

Yeah. I'm seeing that everywhere.

Oh and the reason that %65-%75 of critical dampening works so well on multilink and wishbone suspensions is that it maximizes grip (and contact patch) on soft compound tires. For our FSAE car, we actually calculate this value before building the car and found it to always be in that range.
