18x8.5 wheels but what offset???

18x8.5 wheels but what offset???

hey everyone.. i am in the market to buy new wheels and had couple questions before i did so.. i want 18x8.5 but what offset do i need to run.. is the offset 35?? also, 255 size tires wont be needing fender rolling correct???

18 x 8.5,+30 offset is safe on a 245 tire. You'd use +35 on a 18 x 9 with a 255/35. Either of those are safe/easy Evo fitments.

Volk LE-37s 18x8.5 +22 on 235/40/18 tires without rolling any fenders.

Trust me.. I've run a 17x8.5 +30 TE37 w/ 255/40/17 tires. No rubbing even under full compression.

This is combo would equal a 18x8.5 +30 w/ 255/35/18. Its exactly the same width and height. You will not rub w/ this combo, even with stock-unrolled fenders.

anywhere between 29-35.. but also depending on what type of wheels tho.. some wheels have thicker spokes than other..
