Brembo Pin Question

I have a bit of a weird question... has anyone tried to use the brake pad retaining pins from an Sti on the Evo Brembos? Reason I ask is that the pins used in the Subaru do not expand out... instead they use a small cotter pin and hole to make sure they stay in. I really like this setup more... you know 100% that the pin is completely in and you don't have to "tap" it.

I might be able to borrow someone's for the fronts... don't know anyone who has an extra set for the back.

Best bet is to use the Pins for the EVO Brembo package. The push and lock style pin is designed for less chatter noise for the brake pads.

The STI Brembos hold a 326mm brake rotor while the EVO holds a 320mm brake rotor. Even though the difference is only 6mm, it is a difference. If you don't like the factory Brembo kit, upgrade to different brake set up.

Great input.

Hahahaha, I'm not swapping calipers just because of the pin... I'm just trying to see if a (hopefully) cheap part makes things a little easier. Besides, the 6 mm doesn't change much. As long as the diameter of the hole is the same and the cotter pin stops it from backing out, that's all that needs to happen.
