Thanks for the suggestion.
I will put the car back to stock suspension and see if it pulls to the right.
I am thinking one of the strut mount on the coilover might have be just slightly bent.

We shall find out next weekend.

So...just for clarification of terms: you say that if you let go of the steering wheel, the car still goes straight. The problem is that the steering wheel is turned left in order to go straight. This is not pulling. I would just be careful using the term "pull" to describe you're problem.

Sounds like your thrust angle may be off (this is the angle the rear tires make relative to the centerline, and should be 0º). This is set by the rear toe angles. This would cause the problem you describe.

Hope it all works out!

rear toe is equal on both sides ...they have a slight toe-in of .05 and the thrust angle is 0.

The car goes straight but the steering wheel has to be in the 11 o'clock position.

So, I guess the steering wheel is off center..sorry if I miss worded it.
BTW, it has seen 3 different alignment shops.

If the steering wheel has not been removed then they simply put your wheel at 12 o'clock and re-align. On my minivan the alignment shop forgot to center and lock wheel and performed alignment with wheel at about 11 o'clock. While the vehicle goes straight with wheel off center it doesn't like to stay straight and requires more fiddling around with the wheel . Anyway this is is how it was for me and my MiniVan .

Good luck and let us know how it turns out

Mine was the same way. To get the car to go straight, I had to have the steering wheel at 11 oclock. Then if I let go, it would veer more to the right as well.

When he did the alignment, he fixed it. Not sure what he did, but as far as I knew, that was all part of an alignment, make sure the steering wheel is straight. I would take it back to the shop(s) you had it done at and tell them its still not right. Dont pay for anything, tell them they didnt do their job.

problem fixed!
Steering was off center.

Thanks for suggestions/help guys.
I can't believe 3 different shops couldnt center the steering wheel.
What a bunch of idiots!

For those of you wanting alignment work in chicago/burbs in IL, let me know because the place I went to is top notch.
Small shop but they do excellent work.

Also you don't have to be worried if your car is lowered, their lift is groudn level
so you'll have no problems with clearance.

Glad to hear it was that. I figured as much...did they let you sit in the car while the alignment was being done?

Where did you end up going to? I took my old Integra to Mr. Jim's once on Rte. 59, really good work although a little expensive.

The place is called Thalman's alignment shop in Northbrook, IL.

Regular 4 wheel alignment is around $80.

that's not for corner balancing the car with coilovers if that's what you asked.

It's just for 4 wheel alignment but they do excellent work.

No the bastards wanted to charge me $240 just for the alignment. Wouldn't have mattered if I didn't have coilovers. That's just their standard rate. No corner balancing or anything like that. Unfortunately, they're the only ones around that I know for sure have experience with camber plates and such. I'm not exactly about to go down to the Shell station down the street and have some hack touch my suspension.

Damn I used to live in Gurnee too. Northbrook would be a cinch to drive to.
