Question Beggining Suspension Upgrades

Hey guys. I'd like to start doing some suspension upgrades to my car. I'd like to start taking it to the track, and AutoX events more, but don't have the cash to throw out on coilovers. I was thinking about going with springs, and better strut bars. Any advice? Sorry for the n00b question Thanks in advance.

1.) Good set of tyres.
2.) Alignment with good tyre pressures.
3.) Rear 24mm sway bar.

once you can drive that, then move onto a GOOD set of coilovers, skip the springs -trust me.

rear sway bar made alot of difference.
stock tires are pretty good.
and of course, good alignment.

If you're in SoCal and you want the best bang-for-your-buck suspension-wise, go to John Mueller. Get the Stage 1 (Bushings, RSB, alignment). You can't go wrong. Less than $600 (closer to $550) out the door.

Hey man, you should check out this thread. Read it through, there is some great information about what you are asking about. I would subscribe to it, theres going to be some good information coming out of this...I am excited about the testing and what they are doing here. I wish all companies operated like this, lol

Read down somewhere starting around post #56, thats where it will start to apply to your question and you will see why I linked it but, I recomend reading the whole thing beacuse it really explains alot you might want to know...Really good sources in that thread.

Thanks. I actually live in NorCal, but I have friends and family in SoCal, so I'd always be willing to go down there. Seems like an awesome setup, and definitely is within my price range!
