hey guys...what r the best Bridgestone Potenza tires for the Evo.....and what do u guys think of the Potenze RE-01R ?? I can get them for 136.99 but on a tire size of 225/45/17... can I go this small? safely?

I got the cheapest tires from tire rack because I was in a bind and needed tires (thank god I got them 2 days later we had none stop rain for 4-5 days) anyways they were 67 bucks each, I was going to get better tires a few eeks after but they seem to be holding up really good. cut consistan 1.6 60 foots however tight turns and responce suffereded greatly and the back end comes out too easily. not a bad tire for the buck tho, if you don't plan on taking tight turns it's not a bad idea to save a little money . . . handle like a taurus or somthing now tho

actually I do...take sharp turns..."Cayons ever friday" I think going to return my re750's nasty tires !! handle.... is not great and getting the sti tires !! lol... yup Ponteza RE 070 225/45/17 anyone have these on there evos? r they any good?
