Pics of an 18x10.5 PF01 +38, Hoosier 275/35/18 A6, AST 5100 coilover, 16mm wheel spacer.

At the '2 degree' position (literally feeler gauge clearance)

After moving the eccentric to the 1 degree position, about 5/8" clearance

Excellent data, now just to find the right camber / caster plates.

Also I suspect a few other steerif geometry changes to be included but I'm not sure how exactly.

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=275&aspect=35&diameter=18&wheelwid th=10.5&offset=22&width2=285&aspect2=30&diameter2= 18&wheelwidth2=10&offset2=25#content

Quick comparison to yours and mine. The inner is 3.3 mm different but I'll know how to correct it if it does foul, I'm on spec-r's.

Setup: Enkei PF01's, 18x10.5, +38 with Hoosier 275/35/18 A6's. AST 5100's with swift springs and tender springs, RTErnie rear trailing arms, Perrin PSRS with offset, Cirodesign Caster Camber Plates, Whiteline RCK and bumpsteer, mix of sphericals and whiteline bushings all around. 3.6 Camber Front, 2.1 Rear.

Rear View, just got back from the NASA event at CMP, lots of sand on hot Hoosiers:

Side View:

Ran the car hard all weekend, no rubbing under track loads. Here's what was required for the fit:

Rolled rears nearly flat with slight pull, RTErnie trailing arms, no spacers, bumper bolt relocate mod, done. Pulled the coilovers off and plenty of stroke with no interference:

Fronts. rolled lip on one side near flat, but rolling the Aluminum fender is near impossible to do without major paint flaking (and yes I used a heat gun and took my time). Just cut the other side and it worked fine. Had to move the eccentric bolt to the one degree position as detailed above for tire-coilover clearance. Running 20mm thick JMF hubcentric spacers, also for coilover clearence. The AP BBK clears the wheel by a mile. Fender Liners removed, the 275/35's were into them hard and would have just pulled them out when the tires got hot and sticky. Had to make a shield for the oil cooler to bolt in place.

All indicators after a hard weekend on track are that the 10.5 wide rim really controls any sidewall flex out of the 275's. Once they got to temp and pressure, they felt very solid.

So much room! Nasa points keeping you from a 285 or 295?

i've always run 2.5/1.5. do our cars do much better with that amount of camber? if so, that would really influence my wheel/tire setup.

also, i wish there was someone out there that still made those trailing arms. without them, i'm really limited to spacers/aggressive offset and a set of fake Voltex over fenders.

Yep, I run TT3 which is power to weight, 255-275 DOT Slick is where most everyone runs in the class. Above 275 you take an unfavorable power to weight adjustment factor.

Looking at my tires after CMP this weekend, I will probably end up going to 3.8 (or more) for that track in the front. And the rears have untouched rubber under pickup on the inner portion of the tire. Needs well more than 2.1 back there. I have the 12 plate diff and reprogrammed ACD.

For a starting point, Hoosier recommends 3-4 degrees as a baseline for R6/A6's.

17x9 +45 Enkei RPF1
- 30mm spacer in front (+15)
- 25mm spacer in rear (+20)

275/40/17 BFGoodrich GForce Sport Comp2

I came across a pair of pull offs in 275/40 at work and have a spare set of 17x9 wheels with no tires so I was curious to see how this setup fit. Didn't get to drive it but i'm sure it would rub. Looks cool tho! I'm on Stance Super Sport coilovers (9k/11K) with -2.5 camber in front and -1.7 in the rear.

no need for overfenders at that width. just run the correct offset wheels and you'd be fine.

Too narrow of a wheel for me. I'm looking to run 275s on my 17x9.5" wheel or even bumping to a 17x10".
Right now I'm +38 on the rear and get occasional rubbing on the trailing arm.

still don't need over fenders for a 275 unless you want to run stance offsets.

You track the car, correct? For a 275 I would look at a 10 inch rim minimum. I tried a 275/35/17 on a 17x9 with terrible results. Horrid sidewall flex and roll over.
