at this rate I'm going to make a new Wheel fitment page for 8/9's and on the very first post put every setup with what has to be done... I have spent WAY to much time researching this:

so if you have input let me know
I have rolled rears... so trying to find something to run R888 255/40 which are more the size of 265 actually...

I have these in mind... i can run up to 5mm spacer on front MAX...

does any one know about these wheels? and setups please speak up.

basically just need to know if they will clear brakes or if they require spacers.
+35 in rear is way safe... and with roll no more clearance issues.

Volk Racing CE28N 17x9.5 +35
ADVAN RS2 17x9.5 +35
ADVAN RG II 17x9.5 +35
WedsSport TC105N - 17X9.5 +32

Volk Racing CE28N 17x9 +35
Seen other EVO’s with these can’t tell if they have spacers or not

WedsSport TC105N - 17X9 +35

Advan RG II Wheel 17x9 +35
Good taste in wheels! Almost exactly the same check list I went through.

FEA will be the same. It'll use basically the same ball joint, just a different method of inserting it...and these will probably be easier to put a Spherical "hard" bearing into. Other than that... nah. If you want to get the new bling, then we can work something out Jim BTW.. I'm in Alabama now

PM me if you're seriously interested. I need to get a quote of how many I'm going to have machined at once. So if I have a good estimate I can order more... and get a better piece price.

Reserve me one, I'll be wanting to fit 285's tires sooner or later.

You should be able to run 285s on the stock arm with a small spacer to clear. I think they are needed when you jump to a 295 tire.

^ needed for 285s... Trust me. Or just ask anyone who runs 285s what color their stock trailing arms are now (black From all the tire rubber melted onto them from rubbing). And if you run a spacer in the rear to clear the oem trailing link... No way that is fitting inside the quarters. Well unless you run 3 degrees of negative camber in the rear and pull your quarters until they buckle... And then a little more.

Take it from me... I've ran all the tire and wheel sizes from 9.5-10.5 and tracked all of them... From a 265 re11 to a 305 Pzero slick. Trailing arms ARE the answer.

are the spacers a must have, or can you run a smaller one at least? fitment looks great!

Looking good!

Also, I see you use the same unit conversion calculator that I use.

Loving the look of the cosmis racing mr7 but they only come in one size 18x10 +22 anyone made this work on a 8/9? What size spacer will be needed? I plan on running 265's max.
