18x8....Max width and Sidewall

18x8....Max width and Sidewall
I have a set of rota P45Fs (not the concave one)...and they are an 8 inch wide rim.
They came with 235/40/18s and they are rather stretched on the rim.
I want to go to a 245 or even a 255 Azenis 615
Has anyone ran i tire that wide on an 18 x 8 rim?
I know the stock rim is a 17x8 and people get away with a 255 tire, i just dont wanna be stuck with $600+ worth of tire i cant use

I run a 255x35x18 and it is Perfect... Ohh and I run Azenis.
