replacing brake line problem

I was trying to replace the brake lines with some stainless steel ones but when I was trying to remove the bolt that connects the line on the fender side, it was starting to round off. I was using a flare nut wrench per the diy instruction. Do you guys have any pointers on how I can remove it?

I think I used locking pliers (vice grips)

so instead of using a flare nut wrench, you went straight with locking pliers? Did you wrap the bolt with a towel so it won't get damaged?

No. It's not going to damage the flare fitting as long as the pliers don't slip, IMO, which is why I used the locking pliers instead of having a wrench round off the fitting.

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into using the pliers instead.
