Where do you get Yokohama tires?
Seeing how many people here report quick wear on these tires, I'm curious to know how much the stock tires cost each? Also, what tire shop would carry them? Anyone from the Houston area know of a shop with a good price?

With tires, you get what you pay for. The A046 is an excellent tire for the Evo.

No one here is buying tires for a ****ing Camry but 200 dollars for each tire is ridiculous. I bought a set of 17'' Pole Position S-03's for less than $600 and they are EXCELLENT tires. I used them on my previous vehicles.

I used the S03's on my NSX, They are good but the other tire that was DESIGNED for the NSX was better. I have a feeling the evo is the same way. The NSX had a different tred for the front and the back. I will stick with the stocks and maybe get some slicks for the track. The stock setup is nice to me.
I you think TireRack sells the stock Yoko for $208 is expensive then wait til you hear from your Mitsubishi dealer. They're asking for $350 each. Now, that's what I called "very expensive".
