Does anyone know the paint code for takata green, or is it like top secret gold where you have to order it just through them and pay way too much? I saw a few threads on here about takata green wheels, but none about the actual paint. I have been thinking about painting my stock wheels and putting blizzaks on them just to use for the winter.
(pretty sure this is the right section for this question, but not 100%)

 

I've talked with Rays some time ago when I ordered my CE28Ns about just Takata green and sure they could paint then in that color, almost... They don't have the paint code but have a color that are a 99% match..

I have tried to get a hold of the paint code but no luck.. I know there are machines that analyze paint and give you a recipe. I think that's the only way to find out.. But to do that you need to find something that really are painted with the real color.

Someone has to have the code or a very similar code.

 

If you're just using them as winter wheels, then why do you care if you get the paint 100% matching? Seems kind of silly.

Anyway, my friend Jonathan got the color copied from his authentic Takata TE37's to paint match the wheels on his CBR.

 

Just because I am really picky about thinks like that, and I figured if I am going to do it I may as well do it right. Also, a good friend of mine wants to do his as well for the wheels he will always use. Did your friend happen to get a paint code of the color matched paint?

why matter if its the real code. take the harness's or whatnot to a paint distrubtor and tell them to match it. No matter what you do, its not going to be the same because its two different materials. Your painting on metal as opposed to the takata harness's being Fabric. Just get as close as you can
