Need Everyones help!

Sorry but i been searching, need to know what's the best Tire for New York? not going to be driving in the rain or snow! i just bought Advan RS wheels with a size of 18x9 offset of 29 thanks for Cal from speed element! but need to know whats the best tire in this size 245 40 18 and will it rub?? looking for best grip tires

Some of the best street tires for warm weather grip right now are:

Bridgestone RE01, Advan Neova, Falken Azenis RT615 - to a slightly lesser extent (ie cheaper) are the Federal 595's and the Hankook RS2 Z212. Other candidates would be the Kumho MX and BFG TA KD (they are in the extreme performance section of tirerack.com).

Of all of those, regardless of price the Advan Neova's are probably the best performers. Any grippier than that will require r-comps. A lot of people say the Re01r's are also excellent - I just bought a set so I can't really say yet.

The 245/40/18 is a hair taller than stock so it might rub but I doubt it. Do some more searching on here or ask Cal himself.

Yeah Cal told me it wont rub but making sure since i got it dropped it Swift Springs which i got from him too but thanks max power i was looking into RE01 really might end up picking them up...OH yeah one more thing it looks like they don't have the Advan in that size from tire rack

going to pick up those for the BBS MR wheels since ill be only using the RS wheels in hot weather
