Bilstein.com

I searched under those numbers and Bilstein.com has a listing for them

EVO VIII / IX
04-06 HD
F4-VE3-B843-H0
F4-BE5-B844-H0

Same shocks are on ebay for around $500.

Interesting, not sure what to think.

My friend is selling his MR Bilstein suspension with Eibach lower springs for $500. If you are interested PM me and I can forward your info to him. Danny

I think these Bilstein HD's with our springs as a complete plug and play package is a very interesting idea. Hmm....and maybe fully assembled with Group N rally strut top mounts. That would be very cool....

I also checked Bilstein's site and all they had listed for Evos was still only the PSS9.

I checked with my Bilstein guy today....the Bilstein HD's are indeed available now for EVO.

They are a hair firmer then regular MR Bilsteins....it's a very slight difference. It probably wouldn't be worth the upgrade if you have an MR (unless someone wants your old Bilsteins or they're getting old). Very similar overall, but just barely firmer.

Will definitely be a great upgrade for everyone else though. These are gonna be much better then the standard EVO KYB dampers.

This is only from speaking with my Bilstein rep though.

So if anyone wants me to put together a package with our RCE/GTWorx springs and do a little review, let me know. I think there's a lot of people interested in how these Bilsteins perform.

Whoooooo Hooooooo!

This is excellent! Things are looking up for people like me. I had already planned to change to a Bilstein and GTWorx combo. I'm sure if GTWorx put together a package with these paired together they sure would sell!

Bilstein will rebuild your existing MR suspension and custom valve to your specs for around $400.00 (provided shafts and main parts not overly worn). I have had them rebuild for me in the past on my Porsche and when I bought used Bilsteins for my SE I asked them about some more progressive damping and they said no problem (I thought they might be blown) but I am running them now in stock form. I am lucky to live in San Diego area where their "shop" is so i simply remove and drop them off and pick them up. Rush service is extra. Their website talks about their rebuild/revalve services as well if I'm not mistaken.

Andrew, do the HD Bilsteins also fit '03 Evos? I assume that they will, but since Bilstein didn't list the part number, I wanted to check first...

Yes they should fit without a problem.

I have a 2006 EVO MR with a blown front strut. The other one is great so I just need to replace the bad one. These BILSTEIN HD struts are cheaper than the OEM ones so I was thinking about getting one. Would it be ok to have one OEM MR BILSTEIN and one BILSTEIN HD strut in the front? Or would is screw something up because the HD is slightly stiffer?

Yea they are valved differently. I would rebuild both front struts so they match dampening wise and handling wise.
