Moved to Evo Tires. You're probably going to need to be more specific about what you're looking for. Merely saying you want the "best" tires is way too broad and there's no one answer.

Try the Bridgestone RE-01R which I currently have on my IX. Incredible dry grip and autox proven. Can't tell you about the treadlife yet.

Go with the RE-01Rs, I've had mine on for a while now and prefer them in almost every way to the stock Advans.

high grip goes hand in hand with quick tire wear, thats a way of life. the right alignment can prevent excessive tire wear, but an alignment that is soley focused on performance will usually have toe and camber that quickens tire wear. its a give and take.

Try the Advan Neova's. They're suppose to be a lot better compound than the 615, and do not fade as badly. I run 615's on my car because I can't afford the Neova's, but my 615's at the track always tend to butter up before I even finish one hard lap. That's why I save my money for slicks at the track now!

About the Bridgestone RE-01R tires, what size are you guys running on stock tires? And what would be the best size, if not the size you already have?

Yokohama Advan Neovas are awesome tires. I use them as track tires at Watkins Glen (2 seasons) and they still have plenty of tread.

A005 are full track slicks with no treads, use them at your own risk if you're running them on the street
Ima sticking with RA-1's after stocker wears out cuz I can't afford new slicks every 500 miles ;-/
