215s too small?

I have a good deal on a set of Blizzacks with enough tread to last thru the winter, and was wondering if a 215/45R17 would be too small for a set of stock Enkeis? Too small for the Evo? Im just looking for something that will get me thru a season and let me save my summer tires.

Thinner snow tires generally are better. In this case, however, I would advise against it, due to the stock width of the rims.

Thats what I was thinking, but I didnt know how thin was too thin. I guess since 235s were square on the wheel, 215s would give that mad JDM stretch look, but not in a good way.

Check on TireRack's web site, they tell you what width's are the minimal you can use with the width of the wheel you have. My guess would be 225's are as narrow as you want to go on a 8" wide wheel.

Which Blizzaks? The LM-25 will work on a 7-8 inch wheel. I'd get em.
