I would love to, but they're not on the car yet!
In addition, the ones I am installing tomorrow are custom valving and spring rates. They actually came off of the Showcase Evo that won ESP at nationals a few years back before Evos went to BSP. They then moved on, and gave them to the guy who I am buying them from, but not before he swept the regional STU on them and placed at Nats as well. Now HE is moving on to something else, and I am getting them "third-hand" for dirt cheap. Yeah, I don't have a lot of money I'm not complaining though. They are in good shape and 3rd hand custom-set up A2s like these > brand new out of the box A2s
Because they are custom and Showcase is pretty secretive about their settings, they are somewhat of a mystery
I guess we'll see....

I'll assume your asking Uuri. That setup is actually the one I ran in 2007 in STU. There's nothing magic about the damper settings -- the alignment is much more important. Check the STU and SM threads. The settings I like at nationals in topeka (sandy asphalt) were full soft in the front, full stiff in the rear. That's not really useful though unless you take into account the _complete_ setup including springs, bars, tires, temps, etc.

EDIT:

I feel compelled to throw in my 2 cents here since I've raced them for an entire season and drove thousands of miles on them to SCCA events. Before I got them, all I heard what how ungodly stiff they are and how they will destroy themselves within 1000 miles -- all by people who have never actually owned a set. I have _never_ had these problems. Are they stiffer than stock? Oh yeah. No doubt. Are they unbearable. No.

Even though I'm selling them and going to a different unit, I don't regret buying them. If nothing else, setting them up made me a faster, better, and smarter driver during 2007.

I'm not sure if it was 2004 they won in or 2005. They may just have placed high in '04.

Yeah, placed just high enough that nobody cares. Field Filler FTW!

Seriously though. There's no way you can call my finish 'high'. It was my first time out though...

Donour thanks for your post, do you remember what your street set up was. I currently have these at -1.5 camber front and -1.0 rear. Did you run them full soft?

That's pretty much it. Nothing fancy, nothing magic. Zero toe all around. I didn't have the car set up to handle awesome on the street, it understeered. I had it set up to be safe and stable driving to events, at which point I changed both the camber _and_ toe for racing.

My race setup was way, way, WAY too loose for street driving.

Yup.

Here's a pic of the evo8 track car. It got second place in ITE for the season. The only car that beat it was a world challenge Dodge Viper .

Sorry if I made things sound more complicated than necessary. When I read about the feature on the showcase car in GRM they made it sound like the suspension was totally custom and secret.
