My Jic A2 experience....

I've had jic a1 before and I thought they were pretty good for the streets until I got a good deal on a set of jic a2s. I finally found my dampening and height set up for the streets and I got it aligned. I must say the a2s are sick! the car handles way better now, even with the lower dampening setting for the streets. No noise or anything like that. I've always heard good things about tuned jic for the track but never heard how they are on the streets. Most say they are stiff, but I think with proper tuning, they could be great for the street. So far i like the way the car handles but in a couple of months I will get them professionally tune for the streets and compare how much they will improve. Thanks to hommie Mike at jic for giving me some basis of setting these up for the street.

Yeah I will probably get these muerellized in the future, because it's the way to do it! I've heard of the cs stories, Mike usually does a good job and if anyone needs to deal with Jic contact him, he'll take care of you....

JIC doesnt rebuild their dampers here in the states. They need to be liased to Japan and sent there for rebuilds. Tein does rebuilds within the states.

JIC does in the US. A few authorized vendors are able to rebuild and revalve JICs. FIA Evo in San Francisco does in shop rebuilds for them.

LOL) but as i said originally its just 3rd hand feedback i read MANY times on evom. dont ask me who said it, thats the most retarded question. its like someone asking you , WHO told you an evo is an awesome car? Ok, now I feel compelled to explain where I heard mine:
Multiple posts with many photos and personal accounts by people who used them on Ziptied, Zilvia, etc. even from sponsored pro drifters like Ernie Fixmer. Of course, this IS from drifting, HARD. but the fact that they faileddoes not bother me, after all, that is the nature of race suspensions sometimes. I was just saying that JIC service AFTER they failes was a PITA- supposedly from those people's experieniences, at least compared to what they would have liked or have experienced elsewhere.

ROFL

... Like I said, I am still getting some this week

Go and and get you some, you won't be disapointed....eventually all coilovers fail, that is the nature of it, but at the same time it's worth it when they are good.....

You're probably asking 10sec civic, but I plan on autocrossing next season. The FLTA2 I am putting on tomorrow are specially set up for autoX. I eventually do want to road race, but I won't be doing that until the car is paid off and I am a better driver.
