is there really any difference between WS-50 and the new style? Has anyone tried both?

Like said above there isn't a noticable difference. A new model of every tire comes out each year just like any other object being sold. The WS-60 just has a better reinforced sidewall and a multicell compound that disperses ice and water allowing for exceptional grip. I put these tires on quite a few cars already and it isn't easy putting these on. The sidewall is just too damn stiff! lol

i don't think brand or style of snow tire matters too much on an evo. it's all wheel drive, and real snow tire is gonna get the job done.

matt im sorry man but that is just a really uninformed comment. Style and brand play large part whether youre getting the right style for your driving conditions. A knockoff brand works, just not nearly as well
